TOL Thredolet (threads according to ASME B16.11) up to and including 1" may be used instead of WOL for pressure testing vents and drains only up to class 600 pressure rating (ASME B16.5).

NOTES

  1. Minimize use of latrolets/elbolets and lateral tees.
  2. WRT may be substituted by WT +reducer.
  3. Fabrication of branch connections by forming (extrusion or pulling, including sweepolets) is encouraged when cost saving is improved, and when mechanical integrity is maintained or improved. This applies especially where olets (WOL) would otherwise be used.

    For moderate load cycling services with design temperatures between -100_C to 200_C and header thickness less than 15 mm a design option may, based on Company acceptance, be set on branch.
    Reinforcement pad should be considered even for the cases where it by static pressure would not be required by the design code.

    When these options are used, the design, design calculation and fabrication procedure shall be accepted by Company.
